Karen Allen

Karen Allen is a film and theatre actor/director. She most recently starred in Incidents Around the House with Jessica Chastain and Jay Duplass which will be released in 2026 and A Stage of Twilight with Bill Sadler. She has acted in over fifty films including Colewell, A Year By the Sea, White Irish Drinkers, The Perfect Storm, The Sandlot, Malcom X, Scrooged, Glass Menagerie, Starman, Until September, Raiders of the Lost Ark, and Animal House.

She recently appeared in the world premiere of Donald Margolies’ play Lunar Eclipse with Reed Birney at Shakespeare & Co. and has performed in plays both On and Off Broadway and at the Berkshire Theatre Festival, and Williamstown TF and the Longwharf.

As a director she filmed the award winning A Tree. A Rock. A Cloud, based on Carson McCullers’ short story. Karen is a lifetime member of the Actors Studio and a Board member of Berkshire International Film Festival and has a design studio and store in Great Barrington, MA (Karen Allen Fiber Arts).

COLIN V. Barton

Colin V. Barton is an award-winning Experimental Animation Short Filmmaker with works shown worldwide including: MoMA, Anthology Film Archives, MFA Boston, Los Angeles Film Forum, Sundance Channel, Centre Pompidou, and numerous international film festivals.

With a fascination for classic film visual effects, optical printing, projection, and structuralist Avant Garde. Key films include: Intestinal Fortitude (1991) an extensive 16mm optical collage film, Images of Broken Face, Unbearable Being, Friend Film, 5 Tears, 4 Givings, and People in Pain.

Colin was Californian born, but raised in MetroWest Boston. He has a BFA in Filmmaking from Massachusetts College of Art and an MFA in Experimental Animation from California Institute of the Arts.

Marjie Cohn

Margie Cohn is President of DreamWorks Animation. As president, Cohn leads the prolific animation studio of almost 1,000 artists, animators, technologists and executives to produce two to three theatrical films each year, in addition to numerous episodes of distinctive television series and streaming features for nearly every major streaming platform.

Cohn previously served as President of DreamWorks Animation’s television division. Hired to build the division at its inception in 2013, she oversaw television development and production, expanding the studio’s rapidly growing slate of original television series for DWA’s groundbreaking multi-year deal with Netflix as well as for Hulu, Amazon, Peacock and Apple TV+.

Among the many titles produced under Cohn’s leadership are multiple Emmy®- winning series, including Guillermo del Toro’s Trollhunters (part of the Tales of Arcadia trilogy), All Hail King Julien, The Adventures of Puss in Boots, Dragons: Race to the Edge, and Spirit Riding Free.

Prior to her career at DreamWorks, Cohn spent more than 20 years at Nickelodeon, where, in various development and production roles, she helped make the network number one in cable television for 18 consecutive years.

Molly Cooper

Molly Cooper is a film producer based in Great Barrington. Her producing credits include The Grand Budapest Hotel, Moonrise Kingdom, Fantastic Mr. Fox and The Darjeeling Limited, and she has worked for production companies based at Universal Pictures, New Line and DreamWorks.

She has also worked on projects for The Criterion Collection, HBO, Warner Bros, LAIKA Studios, Abrams Books and Rizzoli, and her film writing has appeared in Filmmaker Magazine, Interview Magazine, and Bright Wall/Dark Room. She spent three years teaching Screenwriting and Filmmaking at Bard College at Simon’s Rock and has been on the Board of the Triplex Cinema since 2023. She holds a BA in English from Yale and an MFA in film from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.

Tony Gerber

Tony Gerber is an Emmy and PGA award-winning filmmaker. Gerber has written, directed and produced over a dozen documentaries for National Geographic, including Kingdom of the White Wolf, a 3-part natural history series filmed on location in the Canadian High Arctic (Disney+). He is a producer of the critically acclaimed, award-winning film Jane about the life and work of Dr. Jane Goodall. His independent films include Full Battle Rattle with Jesse Moss (Berlinale premiere and SXSW Special Jury Prize) and The Notorious Mr. Bout (Sundance, 2014).

Most recently, he directed War Game (with Jesse Moss), which premiered at Sundance 2024, was released in theaters by Submarine Deluxe, and garnered a WGA Nomination for Best Documentary screenplay. Gerber has collaborated with artists Matthew Barney, Allora & Calzadilla, and Ann Sofi Siden (on various film projects.) In 2005, he co-founded the NY-based production company, Market Road Films, with two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Lynn Nottage. Together they produced the Oscar-shortlisted documentary Takeover.

Juliane Hiam

Juliane Hiam is a writer, producer, and frequent collaborator with her partner, artist Gregory Crewdson. Supporting young filmmakers by being on the jury and advisory board member for TRIFEST is particularly meaningful to her because film festivals were defining in the early development of her career after she wrote and directed a feature film at age 21. Juliane is an alumna of the USC School of Cinematic Arts and she lives in North Egremont, MA.
